Gan Airport is located in the Addu Atoll the south of Maldives. The Gan Airport was built by the British Royal Navy and was transferred to the British Royal Air Force during Second World War.
In 1972 the Airport was handed over to the Maldives government and was made to a Domestic Airport. The Gan Airport was turned to Gan International Airport in 2009.
